The conference was divided into two sessions: keynote speeches and parallel forums. In the keynote speech session, Professor Wang Lifei from Beijing Language and Culture University pointed out that the business English major has fully entered the era of language services. He emphasized that the major should be guided by serving national needs, actively explore new opportunities for professional development, and provide important insights for teaching reform and the construction of evaluation systems. Professor Feng Jieyun from University of International Business and Economics systematically expounded the theoretical paths and practical value of cultural tourism discourse research with specific cases, revealing new directions for business English research from an interdisciplinary perspective. Hu Wenfei from Sichuan International Studies University focused on introducing the "trinity" talent training system integrating linguistic competence, practical skills and digital intelligence capabilities, as well as the practical experience of university-enterprise collaborative education. Professor Zhang Jiarui from Southwest University of Finance and Economics shared innovative measures for the digital transformation of the business English major and the integration of industry and education, providing a referenceable practical path to solve the problem of disconnection between traditional education and industrial demands.

In the afternoon, during the parallel forums, participants conducted in-depth exchanges and discussions on topics such as the construction of business English majors, curriculum reform, industry-education integration and faculty development under the background of New Liberal Arts. Ms. He Wei shared the practical exploration and valuable experience of our SFL in integrating competition and education, and delivered a themed speech titled "Construction and Reflection on the Competition-Driven Learning Model for Business English from the Perspective of Industry-Education Integration", which aroused extensive resonance and heated discussions among the participants. Afterwards, as the representative of the next host, Prof. Li Xianwen delivered an enthusiastic speech and sincerely invited all guests to gather in Dazhou next year.

This participation has strengthened exchanges among alliance universities, broadened ideas for professional construction, and clarified the direction of further reforms. Based on the achievements of the conference, our SFL will deepen the integration of industry and education as well as the integration of competition and education, promote the quality and efficiency of professional construction, and contribute to the innovative development of business English.
