Themed class meeting: safety issues in holidays of Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day

On September 27th, a meeting of class at the School of Foreign Languages is held with the theme of  “the safety in holidays of Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day" between 17:30 and 18:30, hosted by the counselors of each class. The main contents of the class meeting are as follows: 

First, emphasize safety precautions. Pay attention to traffic safety and food safety, avoid eating "three no" products, and do not take "three no" vehicles. Raise vigilance against telecommunications fraud, strengthen the awareness of prevention, and protect personal property.  Students need to form a correct outlook on life, world outlook, and values, and consciously resist cults. 

Second, prevent natural disasters. In thunderstorm weather, special attention is paid to electricity safety. In rainy days, be vigilant against various natural disasters such as landslides, and take corresponding preventive measures in emergency. 

Third, pay attention to mental health. Correctly view the pressure from study and life, pay attention to mental health, and learn to release and relieve stress moderately.  Emergency contact phone number  of the school is informed.

Fourth, advocate examinations with integrity undertaking. Take every exam seriously, do not substitute others, and do not ask others tosit any test. 

Fifth, attach importance to the mentorship system. Keep in touch with mentors, stay in close contact, and receive their guidance and support.

Sixth, take credits seriously. Carefully check whether the gained credits meet the standards, and reasonably plan your studies according to the credit manual. 

In addition, the class counselors  remind students of changes in the weather in this season, keep warm in dress when it turns cold, and pay attention to personal health. 

The class meeting has raised students' safety awareness and aimed to spend holidyas safely and happily. All students are guided to arrange their studies reasonably according to their own circumstances, and have a positive and optimistic attitude towards problems in life.
